A 40-year-old fisherman was presumed drowned after he and his cousin were tossed from their aluminium dinghy in Okoromai Bay on the 17th. The dinghy was swamped in huge waves about 300m from shore. The waves were so big the men could only see each other when one was at the trough of the wave and the other was at the crest.
