CommentNuhaka River breached its stop banks for first time in 23 years.

Property DamageChest-high waters swept through a Nuhaka house leaving it badly damaged. The owners lost everything and water left mud and silt through the house. A vehicle was also badly damaged by the water.

ImpactFlooding affected the region east of Manawatu Gorge. Tinui was one of the worst hit areas.
