In Heriot there was minor flooding around houses.
The creek which flows through the township broke its banks.

Kelso
Pomahaka River reached its peak at 3am on the 20th and flooded the main street of Kelso.

Milton
Tokomairiro River crossed the Main South Road at several points between Milton and Clarksville.
Large areas of the country along the course of the river from Milton to Toko Mouth were inundated.

Owaka River
Water from the swollen Glenomaru Stream and Owaka River covered the roads.

Taieri Plain
The Taieri airport was closed to landings on the 19th.

Waitahuna River broke its banks.
There was water across the highway between Milton and Queenstown.
The ballast from the railway line between Milton and Roxburgh was washed out.
Water lapped around some houses, and water seeped in through the floorboards of a shop.
